NCDC Home Opener — Sept. 26 vs. Fort Wayne Spacemen
History arrives at Team Toledo Ice House on Saturday, September 26. The Toledo Cherokee NCDC team plays its first-ever home game — Fort Wayne Spacemen, 8:30 p.m. puck drop.
TOLEDO, OHIO — September 17, 2026 — The Toledo Cherokee NCDC team will play its first-ever home game on Saturday, September 26, at Team Toledo Ice House. Puck drop is set for 8:30 p.m.
The opponent is the Fort Wayne Spacemen. It will be the first NCDC game ever played under the Cherokee banner at Team Toledo Ice House — a milestone for the organization and for junior hockey in Toledo.
The night before, on Friday, September 25, the Toledo Cherokee Premier team opens its 2026–27 campaign on the road against the Metro Jets in Mount Clemens, Michigan, with puck drop at 1:00 p.m.
